Rafael
has been an Urbahn vice president since 1996 and has spearheaded
business development for over a decade. In addition to his corporate
duties, Rafael directs the design of a variety of projects.
Since receiving his Bachelor of Architecture in 1988 from the Cooper Union for
the Advancement of Art & Science, Rafael has been involved in all aspects
of the architecture business, from planning and design, through production and
construction. His work has included the design and project management for new
and renovated facilities in the K-12 Education and Transportation markets.
Rafael’s particular strength is his talent for taking on unprecedented projects that require the development of original methodologies to produce the desired results. Rafael led Urbahn in its initial fast-track Design/Build projects, and has directed the work effort for a variety of major institutional Capital Planning programs.
