Donn Henry began his Urbahn career in the early 80’s and has been a vice president since 1996. Donn both directs our K-12 Education and Criminal Justice work, while also the directing our New Jersey operations out of our Newark branch office. With over two decades of experience, Donn has completed the programming, planning and design of numerous complex institutional facilities throughout the tri-state region.
 
With his Bachelor of Architecture from the New Jersey Institute of Technology Donn is a registered architect in New Jersey and New York. His management style is characterized by unyielding commitment to the project and client; maintaining schedules, budget and quality is paramount to Donn. For many years an advocate of Green Design, Donn’s recent projects in NYC and several New Jersey schools have required LEED compliance.
 
Donn is a recognized expert in planning and design of high security for justice and other secure facilities. He is well-versed in planning and architectural design for passive security, but is also an expert in the technological aspects of CCTV, touch-screen controls, electronic locking, intrusion systems, and perimeter detection.
 
He is a LEED Accredited Professional.
