With over two decades of experience Nat Barranco directs Urbahn’s Higher Education and Transportation groups. Nat has been a vice president of Urbahn since 1988, and serves as our Chief Financial Officer. Nat is well known for his hands-on management approach which allows him to bring in many of our most challenging projects on time and within budget. He has completed numerous rail transit stations, university housing, academic research and science buildings, and healthcare facilities throughout New York and New Jersey.
 
Nat received his Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute and is a registered architect in three states. One of Nat’s most valuable skills is in facilitating the various constituencies within multi-faceted clients, all of whose needs must be satisfied. With his extensive experience and knowledge of building systems design and construction, he regularly coordinates large multi-disciplined teams to innovative, constructible and cost effective solutions. Nat is deeply immersed in each of his projects, ensuring the highest level of quality in design, construction, schedule adherence, cost control and code compliance. He has led several of Urbahn’s recent projects into compliance with LEED sustainable guidelines.
