Urbahn’s work at
this nine story facility involved the design and staging for the gut
renovation of portions of the first, second and seventh floors. Our
work was coordinated with other concurrent capital projects, including
the incorporation of two new stair towers to meet fire and life safety
requirements.
The total affected area encompasses approximately 20,000 gross square
feet, including a 1,500 square foot two-story addition. The program
encompasses numerous program support areas including administration,
lobby, staff support, central control, inmate visiting, health services,
pharmacy, dental clinic, mental health, social services, library and
classrooms.
