Antonio Pinto, AIA

 

Antonio Pinto comes to Urbahn with over 10 years of diverse design and construction experience in the tri-state area. He is an expert in all areas of building envelope technologies and forensics, with over 200 rehabilitation and upgrade projects for many public agencies. His ability to simultaneously focus on details and big-picture issues help make Tony skilled and capable Project Manager.

 

Tony is a Registered Architect in New York State. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the New York Institute of Technology and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

 

Donald E. Henry, Jr., AIA, LEED AP

 

Donn Henry joined Urbahn Architects in the early 1980s and has been an officer since 1996. Donn directs Urbahn’s public safety work, as well as major civic infrastructure projects. With over 25 years of experience, Donn has completed the programming, planning, and design of numerous complex institutional facilities throughout the tri-state region. His management style is characterized by an unyielding commitment to both the project and client, evidenced by his focused stewardship of schedule, budget, and quality.

 

Donn is a recognized expert in planning and design of secure facilities, including Urbahn’s Federal Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, NY, Correctional Medical Center in Bayamon, PR, and Public Safety Communications Center in Jersey City, NJ. He is an advocate for passive security within a project’s planning and architectural design, but is also an expert in implementing security technology, including CCTV, touch-screen controls, electronic locking, intrusion systems, and perimeter detection.

 

Donn holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He is a registered architect in New Jersey and New York, as well as a LEED Accredited Professional.

 

Deborah Verne, AIA, LEED AP

 

Deborah Verne’s extensive experience encompasses all facets of project management; from feasibility studies to construction documents to construction closeout. With all her projects, Deborah takes complete ownership of her client’s needs and constraints. This, coupled with her focus and attention to detail make Deborah an extremely effective project manager.

 

Deborah holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University and is a registered architect in Washington, DC.

 

Peter R. Verne, AIA, LEED AP

 

Peter Verne is a talented architectural designer who brings energy, enthusiasm, and rigorous effort to his projects. His particular talent is in his ability to quickly assimilate a client’s goals and constraints, creating design approaches that are both cost-effective and innovative. A polymath who resists specialization, Peter has led the design of educational, research, transportation, and justice facilities. Peter received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is a registered architect in New York State.
